I began writing Frazno around 2021. If by chance you’ve seen the Jobless Résumé from Issue 1, Summer 2022, I wrote that my objective was to

“…create a trail of Fresno-related lit that has no facsimiles, and then when I finally publish my other stories, they will be the rare and worthless pearls that people will discover the idea of, but not the actual product.”

I think it’s safe to say that after 7+ zines I’ve done just that. But until I actually leave Fresno, the odds are that I’ll keep making the zine named after the town.

What is Frazno!? you ask? Is it fact or fiction? I refuse to answer that question directly. It’s poetry, it’s prose, it’s visual art from a writer, it’s recipes, tragedies, it’s love. Basically, it’s my writing, and I hope you can interpret it in a way that will make the the world and yourself better.
